Between Tides explores the shifting emotional states of the sea — the calm intake of water before a wave forms, and the moment of release as it breaks. Built up in thick impasto acrylic on wood, each piece captures movement through texture rather than detail, allowing light to catch and change across the surface. Though distinct, the works are intended to be experienced together, echoing the natural rhythm of retreat and return.
