About the artist

I just love our beautiful Northern Ireland Coastlines, landscapes and mountains. In particular I’m inspired by the Causeway Coast with its dramatic headlands and iconic cliffs. This is where the sea, sky and weather are constantly shifting. Or the Mourne Mountains with their iconic silhouette or the graceful heather covered slopes right at the heart of the mountain range.

From the love of these places and the fondest memories I’ve had, I create acrylic paintings working in an illustrative style that leans towards a semiabstract presence. I aim for peace, tranquility and healing in my pieces bringing a sense of calm to my collectors’ homes. 

Creating art for me has been a process of healing. I believe it came back into my life at a time when I needed it the most and when I was ready to dive straight in and make it a foundational part of my life.
